Boards in the Digital Age

I thought that you would be interested in the attached article written by Julian March, a real expert in the digital arena.His point about the generational shift is well made and resonates with my ideas about getting younger, more agile people onto boards where they can challenge the established norms, while others can ensure good governance.

The other good point is around the need for “translators”. It is all to easy, especially in areas like cyber, for experts to come in and sound very knowledgeable and for no one on the Board to be able to challenge them. We have built a cadre of leaders who can act as trusted translators for Boards as they navigate their way through the digital landscape.
